How to Recover Deleted Data on Mountain Lion | Mountain Lion Data Recovery

Data loss is the most horrible reality of every Mac user. We delete our data accidentally or intentionally realising later that it is important. With every new release the problem increases. New interface make users to commit more mistakes, resulting in data loss. Newly release OS X Mountain Lion is also giving birth to same problem. Mostly users loss data due to following reasons:

  • Upgrading to later version
  • Accidental deletion
  • Power Failure
  • Improper shut-down
  • Logical errors
  • Continued use after signs of failure, etc.

As soon as you get to know that your data is lost, stop using your system. The more you use it, lesser the chances of recovery. After that download a good data recovery software like Stellar Phoenix Mac Data Recovery to restore your lost data. The software fully supports Mountain Lion Data Recovery from any condition of data loss.

The software have 4 recovery options:

Quick Recover: This is the fastest scanning option, used in the case of a volume corruption.

Deleted Recovery: Deeply scans your volume sector-by-sector and recover every possible piece of document, text, pictures, videos, multimedia, etc. Deleted Recovery takes more time than Quick Recovery but shows better scanning results.

Formatted Media/Lost File Recovery: The scanning option is especially for the drive/media that get formatted. Recover formatted data using this scanning option.

Search Lost/Deleted Volume: Use this scanning option if you delete whole volume/drive.

Above that, the software gives flexibility to select among the various files types, the one you are looking for. There are 107 file types available, that covers almost all the file types. Still if you come across the problem where you don't find the type you are looking for, there is an extra option of 'Add Header'. Where you can add the required file type,  and recover your data.
